Hi-Life Entertainment is a DJ hire and events company based in Leeds, operating across the North of England. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

What information we collect and why
Enquiry form
When you submit an enquiry through our contact form we collect your name, email address, telephone number and event details. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss your event requirements. We do not use it for marketing purposes without your consent.
Event planner accounts
If you create an account on our music planner, we collect your name, email address, telephone number and postal address. This information is used to manage your event booking and communicate with you about your event. Your password is encrypted and never stored in plain text.
Google login
If you choose to sign in using your Google account we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in to your planner account. We ask for your consent before setting these cookies. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings, which will permanently delete your personal data. You may also request deletion of enquiry data by contacting us directly.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We use the following third party services which may process your data:
- Google reCAPTCHA — used on our contact form to prevent spam. Subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Google OAuth — if you use Google to sign in. Subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Data portability
